Bears are really cool when seen from across a wide lake. We were on one shore skipping rocks and swimming (well, the kids sort of were, but it was frigidly cold water) when someone spotted this grizzly on the opposite shore. He went in for a swim, too, but luckily not in our direction. Then he got out and hiked back into the woods.
We didn't see any more bears on our Kananaskis trip, but did see a moose, deer, a coyote, mountain goat, and hundreds and hundreds of mosquitos.
